Good News for UK Pet Owners w.e.f 01 Jan 2021
The long awaited pet travel deal governing the travel with pets to and from the European Union from the UK w.e.f 01 Jan 2021 has been announced. From 1 January 2020, UK Pet Passports will no longer be valid for trips to the Europea Union (EU) or Northern Ireland and an animal health certificate will be needed. British Nationals wanting to take their pets to Northern Ireland or to the EU next year will have to apply for an Animal Health Certificate under new post-Brexit rules
